1. Data Controller & Core Principles

Pasindu Jayasinghe Academy operates as the primary Data Controller. We adhere to the fundamental principles of data minimization, lawful processing, purpose limitation, and storage transparency. We NEVER sell, lease, or monetize personal student or parent information to third-party advertisers.

Data Minimization
We only collect information strictly required for course registration, lab access, and direct parental advisories.
Zero-Trust Security
All communications and academic data are encrypted in transit and at rest using modern cryptography.

2. Cookies & Session Management

We use only essential and functional cookies designed to enhance your direct learning experience:

  • pasindu_academy_lang: Stores your explicit language preference (Sinhala/English) with SameSite=Lax and zero cross-site tracking.
  • pasindu_academy_cookie_consent: Remembers your cookie preferences (Essential / All).
  • Zero Third-Party Advertising Trackers: We intentionally do NOT run advertising tracking pixels (Facebook Pixel, intrusive behavioral ad networks).

3. Protection of Minors & Parental Consent

Because our foundational streams cater to school students in Grades 6 through 11, any admission for a learner under the age of 18 strictly requires explicit parental or guardian consent. All progress reports, class links, and fee notifications are delivered directly to the designated parent/guardian mobile line.

4. Your Statutory Rights Under PDPA

Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022, data subjects possess the following statutory rights:

Right of Access
Request a verified copy of all personal and academic records maintained in our systems.
Right to Rectification
Correct inaccurate contact numbers, student names, or parental designations at any time.
Right to Erasure
